University Academic Assessment Program
UAAP is designed to provide academic assistance and advisement to students who have experienced academic difficulty.

Specifically, UAAP serves:
1. Students in UAS who call on academic probation and those who are referred by the colleges;
2. Students in good standing, according to State Regents’ policy, but are ineligible for admission to their desired college due to gpa;
 3. Students suspended by OSU who have stayed out of college for minimum of one regular semester and who show potential for success;
 4. Transfer students on academic probation who are admitted due to special circumstances.

Students enrolled through UAAP are assisted in reevaluating their career and educational goals, as well as in developing an academic plan appropriate for their interests and abilities. A special course called University Academic Assessment, UNIV 2001 is offered for these students to assist them in reaching their goals.
