For the Prospective Tutor: to become a tutor for the Campus-Wide Tutoring Program in the Office of Academic Services, please complete the application attached below, print it off, and submit it, along with a current grade report or transcript, to 214 Student Union. These documents will be given a preliminary review to determine if you meet the following requirements:
a) currently enrolled Oklahoma State University undergraduate or graduate student
b) minimum 3.0 graduation/retention GPA in 30 or more completed hours
c) 9 credit hours in each discipline in which you wish to tutor (minimum of 6 hours must be from OSU unless you are a graduate student
d) minimum 3.25 GPA in the discipline(s) in which you wish to tutor; and
e) completion of each course in which you wish to tutor (or its equivalent) with a grade of "A" or "B".
After meeting the above criteria, you must obtain approval from your academic advisor, an instructor, or your honors advisor before your name can be added to the list of qualified tutors.
Note: A combination of education and experience may be substituted for the above in certain cases.
